Abstract:
The present invention relates to a waist girth adjuster capable of flexible waist girth adjustment in accordance with the variable physical conditions of a trouser wearer, and to trousers having the waist girth adjuster. For this purpose, a waist girth adjuster of the present invention, which adjusts waist girth from positions installed on an inner and outer overlapping portion formed on a trouser waist end that is cut and separated at one or more points, comprises: a guide rail sewn onto the inner overlapping portion in a transverse direction, defining a latch portion in a top surface thereof, and having projections projecting along the length of one surface thereof for surface-contacting the inner overlapping portion; and position-fixing means including a moving member provided with a first insert portion capable of being slidably coupled to the guide rail, a pressing piece rotatably coupled about a hinge pin to one side of the moving member so as to be caught by and fixed on the latch portion, and a fixing member coupled to one side of the moving member so as to enable the moving member to be fixedly installed on the outer overlapping portion.
