Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a walker having an excellent sideways fall prevention effect. [Solution] A walker according to the present invention comprises a lower component 2, a supporting body 3, and an upper component 4. The lower component 2 includes a lower base and a moving means provided on the lower base. The moving means includes a left-center-side fixed wheel 28 and a right-center-side fixed wheel 29. The upper component 4 includes a left side support 8L and a right side support 8R. The walker is characterized in that a distance ratio D defined as D2/D1 is 1.5 to 2.0, where D1 is the shortest horizontal distance between the left side support 8L and the right side support 8R, and D2 is the shortest horizontal distance between the left-center-side fixed wheel 28 and the right-center-side fixed wheel 29.
