Abstract:
A walking assistance device (1) comprising: a body part (2); a handle part (3) which is provided to the body part (2) and capable of being held by a user; a load setting unit (21) which sets a load that is imposed on the user; a movement control unit (22) which, on the basis of the load set by the load setting unit (21), controls a rotary body and causes the walking assistance device (1) to move; a handle lifting/lowering mechanism (6) which is equipped with an actuator and which is for lifting/lowering the handle part (3); and a handle height adjustment unit (23) which controls the handle lifting/lowering mechanism (6) and causes the height of the handle part (3) to be automatically adjusted.
