Abstract:
Provided is a walking assistance device (2) that assists the walking movement of a walker (4). The walker (4) may be an elderly person, a disabled person, an injured person, an athlete, a learner, or the like. A measurement unit (10) measures walking information related to the walker (4) and generates data (S2) that indicates the walking information. A worn device (20) mediates the movement of the arm of the walker (4) during walking by acting on the arm in accordance with the walking information data (S2) measured by the measurement unit (10) and thereby improves walking movement.
