This walking support device is worn on a leg of a person being supported, and is provided with an outside member including an outside member main body portion and an outside member ground-contacting portion, an inside member including an inside member main body portion and an inside member ground-contacting portion 22, and a support member which can be attached to and removed from a lower thigh portion and which supports the outside member and the inside member. The support member supports the outside member main body portion in such a way that the outside member ground-contacting portion is disposed to the outside of a foot and at least part of a ground-contacting surface of the outside member ground-contacting portion is positioned on the same plane as a ground-contacting surface of the sole, and the support member supports the inside member main body portion in such a way that the inside member ground-contacting portion is disposed to the inside of the foot and at least part of a ground-contacting surface of the inside member ground-contacting portion is positioned on the same plane as the ground-contacting surface of the sole.
