Abstract:
Provided is a walking support machine that is fitted to a person and assists the person with walking. The walking support machine is a type of passive walking machine that performs walking by assisting a person providing support (5), and is provided with: two legs (1) comprising a thigh part (1a) and a lower leg part (1b) that rotate relatively via a knee joint (1d); a connection means (4) that rotatably connects the two legs (1); a handle (2) for assisting the walking support machine; and a fitting means (3) for fitting the walking support machine to a person being supported (6). The walking support machine is configured in such a manner that, while the person providing support (5) pushes the handle (2) to make the walking support machine walk, the person being supported (6) is assisted with walking.
