Abstract:
A wall-climbing robot includes a drive wheel (110), a movement motor (120) that applies a torque to the drive wheel (110), contra-rotating propellers (220) that generate a force to press the drive wheel (110) against a wall face, and a gimbal mechanism (210) that has two or more degrees of freedom and that holds the contra-rotating propeller (220) as a rotor so that the direction of the axis of the center of rotation of the contra-rotating propeller (220) can be arbitrarily changed.
