Description:
WALLET WITH COIN PURSE Technical Field The present invention relates to a wallet with coin purse having reduced dimensions.

Background Art As is known, wallets are generally produced by means of two wings that can be mutually superimposed and are joined at a folding line.

If it is necessary to also have a coin purse, solutions have already been provided in which there is a pocket that can be closed by an appropriate flap; however, they have been found to be scarcely practical, because a significant bulk is produced in the wallet, producing an additional bulge that is usually located proximate to the free parts of the wings in order to allow the normal folding of the wallet; moreover, it is difficult to select and remove the coins, which are piled at the bottom of this kind of container.

To avoid these problems, the only known solution is to provide a conventional wallet with various kinds of compartment and to have a coin purse that is a distinct and separate element, with the obvious related drawbacks.

Disclosure of the Invention The aim of the invention is indeed to eliminate the problem mentioned above, by providing a wallet with coin purse having reduced dimensions, which allows to avoid an abnormal bulge even when coins are placed in the wallet.

Within this aim, an object of the invention is to provide a wallet that has a wide range of compartments and furthermore allows to select easily the coins, which are rapidly accessible for the user.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a wallet with coin purse that thanks to its particular constructive characteristics is capable of giving the greatest assurances of reliability and safety in use.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a wallet with coin purse that can be obtained easily starting from commonly commercially available elements and materials and is further competitive from a merely economical standpoint.

This aim and these and other objects that will become better apparent hereinafter are achieved by a wallet with coin purse having reduced dimensions, according to the invention, comprising a wallet body formed by a first wing and a second wing that can be mutually superimposed and are joined by a folding line, characterized in that it comprises, on an inner face of one of said wings, a coin compartment, with an opening arranged proximate to said folding line, detachable coupling means at least for the portion bearing said coin compartment being provided on the other one of said wings.

Brief description of the drawings Further characteristics and advantages will become better apparent from the description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment of a wallet with coin purse having reduced dimensions, illustrated only by way of non- limitative example in the accompanying drawings, wherein: Figure 1 is a schematic view of the wallet with the coin purse in the open position; Figure 2 is a view of the wallet in the open position at the credit card compartments; Figure 3 is a schematic view of the wallet in the open position at the bill compartments; Figure 4 is a side view of the wallet in the closed position; Figure 5 is a sectional view of the coin compartment.

Ways of carrying out the invention With reference to the figures, the wallet with coin purse having reduced dimensions according to the invention, generally designated by the reference numeral 1, is constituted by a wallet body that is substantially formed by a

first wing 2 and a second wing 3 that can be overlapped and are mutually joined by the usual folding line, designated by the reference numeral 4.

The particularity of the invention consists in that on one of said wings, for example on the wing 2, there is a coin compartment, designated by the reference numeral 10, that is provided with an opening 11 directed toward the folding line 4.

Thanks to this particular arrangement, when the wallet is in the normal closed condition, the opening 11 is closed automatically.

Advantageously, the coin compartment has a predominantly rigid structure and a receiving surface, designated by the reference numeral 14, is formed on the laterally adjacent wing, at the opening, said surface being delimited at its ends by detachable coupling means that allow to keep the wallet closed at least in the portion bearing the coin purse.

It is also possible to provide the coin compartment only with three perimetric walls that delimit the opening 11, which is again arranged at the folding line, without the presence of the upper wall 10a.

In a preferred but not exclusive embodiment, the coupling means are constituted by clips 20 that are formed by the arms of a C-shaped element 21 that is preferably made of spring steel and is coupled to the coin compartment, which is likewise formed by a C-shaped body 22 also made of spring steel; this allows to have optimum closure without requiring particular efforts during opening and closure.

The wallet can have various accessory elements; thus, for example, on the wing that forms the coin receiving surface it is possible to provide a first flap 30 and a second flap 31 that can be superimposed so that the folding region 32 constitutes an edge for delimiting the surface 14.

The first flap 30 and the second flap 31 can form a compartment 33 for example for inserting bills.

Thus, for example, on the first wing, in the region that flanks the coin compartment, it is possible to provide compartments 35 for accommodating

credit cards.

It is also possible to form, between the first wing and the second wing, a rear compartment 40 that can contain bills, documents and the like.

With the described solution, when the wallet is in the closed or folded position, the coin compartment is closed by way of the folding line 4, and the clips 20 further act as an engagement element that keeps the wallet in the closed position.

This allows to use, for example, the first and second flaps to access the bill compartment without opening the coin compartment; likewise, it is possible to access the credit card compartments while keeping the coin compartment in the closed position.

If access to the coin compartment is sought, it is sufficient to open the wallet as shown in Figure 1, being assisted in doing so by the grip allowed by the elements 2 on one side and 30,31 on the other, and to make the coins slide on the receiving surface 14, with the possibility to perform easy and quick selection.

From the above description it is thus evident that the invention achieves the proposed aim and objects, and in particular the fact is stressed that a wallet with coin purse is provided in which the coin compartment is arranged proximate to the folding line and does not require a closure of its own, as instead is noted in currently commercially available solutions, and allows to avoid increasing in practice the dimensions, thus obtaining a wallet that even with the coin compartment does not form abnormal bulges as instead occurs with known solutions.

Moreover, another aspect to be noted consists in that automatic closure of the coin compartment is achieved, with the possibility to have, when the coin compartment is open, a receiving surface that prevents the coins from falling accidentally.

Furthermore, the particular arrangements used allow to use the compartments of the wallet without necessarily having to open the coin

compartment.

The invention thus conceived is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the appended claims.

All the details may further be replaced with other technically equivalent elements.

In practice, the materials used, as well as the contingent shapes and dimensions, may be any according to requirements.
