Abstract:
Disclosed is a warning method for a television set comprising a storage battery and a warning device. The storage battery supplies electricity to a tuner and the warning device when the television set is in an off-state. The warning method for the television set comprises the following steps: when the television set is in the off-state, controlling the turner to perform a frequency-locking operation according to a preset frequency; and if a signal intensity of a television signal received at a frequency locked by the turner is less than a preset threshold, controlling the warning device to execute a warning operation. Also disclosed is a warning system for a television set. In the invention, when the television set is in the off-state, the turner performs the frequency-locking operation to detect whether a signal intensity is abnormal so as to determine whether a signal line has been pulled out, and accordingly, whether the television set is stolen can be determined by a determination result of whether the signal line has been pulled out, thereby increasing protection for the television set.
