Abstract:
Provided is a warning sound generating device for generating a warning sound by which surrounding pedestrians and other road users easily notice the presence of an electric vehicle.
In the warning sound generating device comprising a warning sound control device (3) for generating a signal for driving a sound generating body that generates a warning sound, the warning sound control device (3) includes: a vehicle information acquiring unit (5) for acquiring vehicle information of the electric vehicle; a vehicle-state change determination unit (6) for specifying a vehicle state on the basis of the vehicle information acquired by the vehicle information acquiring unit (5) and determining a vehicle-state change; and a pulse generating unit (7) for generating an intermittent pulse signal. When the vehicle-state change determination unit (6) determines that the vehicle state is a preset state of change, the vehicle-state change determination unit (6) allows the pulse generating unit (7) to generate the intermittent pulse signal.
