Abstract:
The present invention is related to warning systems(S) that enable the people to detect various electrical warning signals around by means of vibration and light, to inform the third persons in the emergencies and to provide the electricity and gas where they are present, to be cut automatically in case of emergencies. The present invention is especially related to a warning device that enables the hearing impaired people, the elderly, children and patients to transform the various electrical signals into vibration and/or light, the people to detect said sound warnings, the two users that are using wristband (41) to contact with each other, all the users to be warned, and only one user to be called/warned; and to the warning method of said device.

CLAIMS

A warning system (S) that enables the people to detect warnings by transforming various electrical signals into vibration and/or light, and comprises a wristband embodiment, characterized in comprising;

- central control unit (21 ) comprising at least one RF receiver (212) transforming RF signals (1 1 1 ) into electric signals, at least one RF transmitter (213) transforming the electric signals into RF signals (1 12) and at least one microprocessor (21 1 );

- at least one priority input converter (1 ) and at least one non-priority input converter (2), which transform electric signals into RF signals (1 1 1 );

- wristband embodiment (41 ) comprising at least one vibration motor (412) warning user when RF signal (1 12) transmitted by RF transmitter (213) is received; at least one RGB LED (41 1 ) changing color in accordance with RF signal (1 12) received; at least one wristband RF receiver (413) and at least one wristband RF transmitter (414); at least one microprocessor (415); at least one emergency button (416) ensuring contact of the user with the control unit (21 ); and

- at least one emergency action module (31 ) interfering with emergency upon ■ receiving RF signals (1 3) transmitted by said central control unit (21 ).

Warning system (S) according to Claim 1 , characterized in comprising at least one battery (214) providing power for said central control unit (21 ), said RF receiver (212), said RF transmitter (213) and said microprocessor (214).

Warning system (S) according to Claim 1 , characterized in comprising at least one battery (417) providing power for said wristband embodiment (41 ).

Warning system (S) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that said emergency action modules (31 ) are emergency GSM module (31 1 ) and/or emergency electricity cutting module (312) and/or emergency gas cutting module (313).

Warning method that enables the people to detect the warnings by transforming various electrical signals into vibration and/or light, and comprises a wristband embodiment; characterized in that a user warning process via vibration and/or light by the wristband embodiment (41 ) comprises the following process steps; - transforming the coded radio frequency waves (1 1 1 ) that are sent from priority and/or non-priority input converters (1 ,2) into electric signals used by central control unit (21 ), by the RF receiver (212);

- processing said electric signals and ordering thereof in accordance with the vital importance by unit microprocessor (21 1 ) in the central control unit (21 );

- selecting the required process in accordance with the primary signal or signals by the program in the unit microprocessor (211 ) of the unit;

- transforming the electric signals sent from central control unit (21 ) into coded radio frequency signals (1 12) by the RF transmitter (213);

- detecting the RF signals (1 12) by wristband RF receiver (413) on the1 wristband embodiment (41 ) and transforming thereof into electric signal;

- transmitting said electric signals to the wristband microprocessor (415) on the wristband embodiment (41 ) by said wristband RF receiver (413);

- generating code for electric signals by said wristband microprocessor (415);

- warning the user as a result of the RGB LED (41 1 ) on the wristband embodiment (41 ) being lighted with the electric signals of the codes generated by microprocessor (415) in line with the priority of RF signal (1 12) and/or the vibration motor (412) vibrating on the wristband embodiment (41 ).

Warning method according to Claim 1 , characterized in comprising the process step of pushing the emergency button by the user, which initiates the process of transmitting the emergency to the emergency action modules (31 ).

DESCRIPTION

Warning System Comprising Wristband Embodiment TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention is related to warning systems that enable the people to detect various electrical warning signals around by means of vibration and light, to inform the third persons in the emergencies and to provide the electricity and gas where they are present, to be cut automatically in case of emergencies.

The present invention is especially related to a warning device that enables the hearing impaired people, the elderly, children and patients to transform the various electrical signals into vibration and/or light, the people to detect said sound warnings, the two users that are using wristband to contact with each other, all the users to be warned, and only one user to be called/warned; and to the warning method of said device.

STATE OF ART Today, an embodiment which enables the hearing impaired people to detect the warnings around easily has not been provided in the state of art. Some embodiments have been provided, but they are not beyond project stage. In said projects, a system consisting of one vibration motor tied around the waist and one LCD screen has been designed. In said system, the sounds around are detected via a micro device tied around the waist. The sounds detected are transformed into characters programmed previously in the system and are shown in written form on the LCD screen tied around the wrist. This condition makes the use and carrying of the system difficult. Moreover, the system may detect the similar sounds around wrongly. This condition decreases the detection level of the warning. Said system with vibration motor and LCD screen only operates with two input data and may function in case of doorbell and gas leakage. This system cannot be used in daily life due to carrying difficulties and said limitations thereof.

In another state of art, pulse rate, body temperature and blood pressure of the baby can be measured thanks to a wristlet attached to the wrist of a baby against sudden baby deaths. A UK patent numbered GB2485690B is present in the literature regarding the subject. In said patent, the parents are informed by sending the signal from the bracelet to the center in case of abnormal conditions. Vibration, Braille alphabet and visual materials are used in order for the hearing or visually impaired parents to detect the warnings. However, said product is totally different from the warning device for hearing impaired people according to the present invention in terms of shape and structure, as it only informs the vital functions of the babies. In another state of art, the direction of the sounds detected around is determined by using two rings and one bracelet and warning is achieved in accordance with the sound direction. The ring put on two fingers of two hands and a bracelet in the view of watch are benefited for the warnings. It is used for the hearing impaired people to detect the sounds of dangerous situations such as car and horn sounds around. However, said product is only used for the sounds of dangerous situations experienced in outdoor areas, the threats that the hearing impaired people may face in the house are excluded.

In another state of art, warnings are sent to the bracelets of the users by using radio waves in Dutch patent application numbered NL8300345A. When the bracelet is connected to the device sending the warning directly via radio waves, the warning signal received is deactivated via a button on the bracelet. Therefore, the device is stopped by the bracelet without going to the device sending the warning. Said invention is related to deactivating a special device via a bracelet rather than facilitating the lives of hearing impaired people and enabling them to detect the warnings around.

Moreover, in Chinese patent numbered CN202183144U, the warnings around are sent to said bracelet with vibration and a single lamp by means of radio waves.

As a result of the drawbacks mentioned above and the insufficiencies of the present solutions regarding the subject, developments and improvements are required in the field relating to the use of wristband for the hearing impaired people to hold on to the life differently from the known methods.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

Developed with the inspiration of the present conditions, the object of the present invention is to transmit the warnings of electric devices to the abovementioned hearing impaired people wherever they are present, to warn them in vital situations, to eliminate the drawbacks relating to the warning systems comprising wristband, to enable the hearing impaired people to detect the warnings around, and to improve the systems designed for the contact of wristbands. The object of the present invention is to enable the hearing impaired people to detect the various warnings around them.

An object of the present invention is to take the required precautions for the hearing impaired people in case of emergencies.

Another object of the present invention is to inform the third persons for the emergencies that are experienced when the hearing impaired people are not contacted. Another object of the present invention is to enable the children, the elderly, patients and physically impaired people to contact with the third persons in case of emergencies or when they need help.

Another object of the present invention is to warn all the people in case of emergencies in public places such as school, dormitory and etc., to contact with all the people simultaneously, and to determine who needs help easily.

An object of the present invention is to send warning only to a certain wristband and thereby, to the user of said wristband in public places.

Another object of the present invention is to enable two and/or more wristband embodiments, which are connected to a central control unit in any way, to contact with each other.

In order to achieve the abovementioned objects, the present invention is warning system that enables the people to detect the warnings by transforming various electrical signals into vibration and/or light, and comprises a wristband embodiment, and also includes the following;

Central control unit comprising at least one RF receiver transforming the RF signals into electric signals, at least one RF transmitter transforming the electric signals into RF signals and at least one microprocessor;

At least one priority input converter and at least one non-priority input converter, which transform electric signals into RF signals;

Wristband embodiment comprising at least one vibration motor warning the user when RF signal transmitted by RF transmitter is received; at least one RGB LED changing color in accordance with RF signal received; at least one wristband RF receiver and at least one wristband RF transmitter; at least one microprocessor; at least one emergency button ensuring the contact of the user with the control unit, and

At least one emergency action module interfering with the emergency upon receiving RF signals transmitted by said central control unit.

In a preferred embodiment, the present invention comprises at least one battery providing power for said central control unit, said RF receiver, said RF transmitter and said microprocessor.

In a preferred embodiment, the present invention comprises at least one battery providing power for wristband embodiment.

In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, said emergency action modules are emergency GSM module and/or emergency electricity cutting module and/or emergency gas cutting module.

The present invention is also a warning system that enables the people to detect the warnings by transforming various electrical signals into vibration and/or light, and comprises a wristband embodiment; the user warning process via vibration and/or light by the wristband embodiment comprises the following process steps;

- transforming the coded radio frequency waves that are sent from priority and/or non-priority input converters into electric signals used by central control unit, by the RF receiver;

- processing said electric signals and ordering thereof in accordance with the vital importance by the microprocessor in the central control unit;

- selecting the required process in accordance with the primary signal or signals by the program in the microprocessor of the unit;

- transforming the electric signals sent from central control unit into coded radio frequency signals by the RF transmitter;

- detecting the RF signals by RF receiver on the wristband embodiment and transforming thereof into electric signal;

- transmitting said electric signals to the wristband microprocessor on the wristband embodiment by said RF receiver;

- generating code for electric signals by said wristband microprocessor;

- Warning the user as a result of the RGB LED on the wristband embodiment being lighted with the electric signals of the codes generated by microprocessor in line with the priority of RF signal and/or the vibration motor vibrating on the wristband embodiment.

In a preferred embodiment, the present invention comprises the process step of pushing the emergency button by the user, which initiates the process of transmitting the emergency to the emergency action modules.

The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood thanks to the figures below and the detailed description written with reference to those figures; therefore, the evaluation needs to be done by taking said figures and the detailed description into consideration.

FIRGURES FOR UNDERSTANDING THE PRESENT INVENTION Figure 1 is the overall view of the wristband for the hearing impaired people to hold on to the life according to the present invention.

Figure 2 is the flow chart illustrating the operating principle of the system.

Figure 3 is the overall view of the central circuit of the wristband for the hearing impaired people to hold on to the life according to the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the wristband for the hearing impaired people to hold on to the life according to the present invention are described only for the subject to be understood better. The wristband embodiment (41 ) according to the present invention can contact with the other wristband embodiments (41 ). Moreover, in the warning system according to the present invention, all the users can be contacted simultaneously or only one user or more users can be contacted. In the system, a code special for the emergencies is provided. All the present wristband embodiments (41 ) are produced with the information where said code is the standard emergency code.

In the preferred embodiment, the present invention comprises at least one non-priority input converter (1 ), at least one emergency input converter (2), at least one central control unit (21 ), at least one wristband embodiment (41 ) and at least one emergency action module (31 ).

Central control unit (21 ) is the main member of the system. Said central control unit (21 ) comprises one RF receiver (212), one RF transmitter (213), one battery (214) and one microprocessor (21 1 ). Said RF receiver (212) transforms the coded radio frequency waves (1 1 1 ) that are sent from priority and/or non-priority input converters (1 , 2) into electric signals used by central control unit (21 ). Here, the coded signal (1 1 1 ) transmitted to central control unit (21 ) processes the signal that has been previously saved in the microprocessor within the central control unit (21 ). Contrary to said RF receiver (212); said RF transmitter (213) transforms the electric signals sent from central control unit (21 ) into coded radio frequency signals (1 12). One power source is used in order to feed said unit electrically (21 ), thereby, the microprocessor (21 1 ), RF receiver (212) and RF transmitter (213), which are provided in said unit (21 ). Said power source is preferably battery (214). Said battery (214) can be charged.

The warning system (S) informs the users of the incidents and events through the wristband embodiment (41). On said wristband embodiment (41), one RGB LED (41 1 ), one vibration motor (412), one RF receiver (413), one RF transmitter (414), one microprocessor (415), one emergency button (416) and one battery (417) are provided. The microprocessor (415) provided on the wristband embodiment (41 ) activates the vibration motor (412) by sending electric signal in accordance with the RF signals (1 12) detected by RF receiver (413). In addition, said microprocessor (415) lights up the determined color of RGB LED (41 1 ) in accordance with the RF signal (1 12) received. One color or two or each of three colors is/are lighted up for each input and thus, more devices can be informed only via colors. Here, the inputs and the colors lighted up in accordance with them will be defined in the operation notes or instructions for use. (For example, only color blue is lighted up fixedly for the first non-priority input; color blue blinks for the second non-priority input; and colors blue and green blink for the third non-priority input respectively. Color green is lighted up for the fourth non-priority input; color green blinks for the fifth non-priority input). Therefore, the wristband embodiment (41 ) transmits the information determining from which input (1 ,2) RF signal (1 1 1 ) is received, to the user by means of the color of RGB LED (41 1 ).

However, the vibration motor (412) on the wristband embodiment (41 ) vibrates when RF signal (1 12) is received and warns the user.

For example, signal 101 1 (1 1 1 ) is sent to the central control unit (21 ) from the converter (1 ) as the code of doorbell. The program installed in the microprocessor (21 1 ) of the unit (2) determines that said signal (1 1 1 ) is the code of second non-priority input (1 ) by way of comparison. And, it performs its functions in accordance with said input code. In accordance with said input, it operates the vibration motor (412) on the wristband (41 ) together with RF transmitter (213) and sends the signal that will light up the color blue of RGB LED (41 1 ) (1 1 1 ). That the second non-priority input (1 ) is blue has been determined previously. And, the user has said information. In other words, the user understands that when the color blue is lighted up, the color blue belongs to the second input (1) as defined in the instructions for use or notes previously. Namely, the user who places said converter (input) (1 ) to the doorbell understands that the doorbell is ringing. In addition, a program performing all of said functions is also provided in the microcontoller. Battery (417) is used for electrically feeding all of said members provided on the wristband embodiment (41 ).

In the preferred embodiment of said invention, the converters (1 ,2) connected to various devices (oven clock, doorbell, fire alarm and etc.) transform the electric signals sent to them into RF signals (1 1 1 ) and transfer thereof to the central control unit (21 ). RF receiver (212) on said control unit (21 ) transforms the RF signals (1 1 1 ) transmitted into electrical signals again and transmits to the microprocessor (21 1 ). RF signals (1 1 1 ) received are divided into two as priority (2) and non-priority (1 ) thanks to the program provided on said microprocessor (21 1 ). RF signals (1 1 1 ) received from non-priority inputs (1 ) (door bell, clock alarm and etc.), which are not vital, and from priority inputs (2) (natural gas leakage, fire alarm, burglar alarm and etc.), which are vital, are again transformed into electrical signals and transmitted to microprocessor (21 1 ). The microprocessor (21 1 ) receiving said signal processes the signal received in accordance with the priority. The processed signal is transformed into RF signals (1 12) and transmitted to wristband embodiment (41 ) by means of RF transmitter (213). The central control unit (21 ) waits feedback from wristband embodiment (41 ) after said signal (1 12) is transmitted to the wristband embodiment (41 ).

In case of emergencies, the user is required to push the emergency button (416) provided on the wristband embodiment (41 ) in one minutes at the latest. If the button (416) is pushed, any process is not performed by emergency action modules (31 ). Therefore, the user indicates that s/he is informed of the related emergency and the required precautions have been taken by her/him. If the emergency button (416) provided on the wristband embodiment (41 ) is not pushed by the user in one minute at the latest, it is understood that the user does not have the wristband embodiment (41 ) with her/him. In this case, the wristband embodiment (41 ) sends warning by means of RGB LED (41 1 ) and vibration motor (412) consistently. In the case that emergency button (416) is not pushed, the processor (21 1 ) on the central control unit (21 ) sends RF signals (1 13) to the emergency action modules (31 ). For example, emergency action module (31 ) cuts the electricity and natural gas or the like in the area where the user is present. The other emergency action module (31 ), GSM module (31 1 ), is activated simultaneously and informs the third persons by means of sound warning and/or SMS. The emergency button (41 ) provided on said wristband embodiment (416) provides the contact of user with the central unit (21).

In the preferred embodiment of the system, pushing the button for once for the non-priority inputs determines that the user is informed, and stops the received warning signals, and enables the central control unit (21 ) to wait for signal again from the input converters (1 ,2). If it is not pushed for once, it goes on sending signal.

The central control unit (21 ) both goes on sending signal and processes the received warning signals. It performs said two processes simultaneously.

It is enough to push the emergency button twice for the central control unit (21 ) to call the other wristband embodiment (41 ), namely the other user, and it is required to be pushed three times for indicating that the user is informed.

In addition, when the system does not have any signals, GSM module (31 1 ) is used for the user to inform the third persons (users) of the emergency occurring when the user gets sick, is injured or etc. In this case, the button is to be pushed four times. In said process, electricity cutting module (312) and gas cutting module (313) are not used; only the GSM module (31 1 ) is used.

When said emergency button (416) is preferably pushed four times, the information indicating that the owner of the wristband (41 ) is in a difficult situation is transmitted to the central unit (21 ). In this case, GSM module (31 1 ) is activated and informs the third persons determined by the user of the wristband embodiment (41 ), by means of sound warning and/or SMS.

When the button is pushed twice, the other wristband embodiments (21 ) connected to central control unit (21 ) or provided in the influence area (the areas that can be reached by RF signals (1 12) that are received from control unit (21 )), are called and/or warning is sent to said other wristband embodiments (41 ) by means of RF transmitter (414).

In case of emergencies, both the user can be informed and the user sends RF signals (1 12) to the control unit (21 ) in case of emergency thanks to said emergency button (416), and different operations can be performed.

What kind of precautions will be taken cannot be changed in accordance with the wish of the user. Operating can be ensured by taking all the precautions in case of emergency without the information of the user. Said condition is achieved thanks to the fact that the system activates all the emergency precautions without requiring the wish of the user.

For example, if the user wants to be informed only and forgets this situation, the central control unit (21 ) will not perform any process even if the emergency button is pushed. Therefore, natural gas or electricity will not be cut. Therefore, undesired situations may be experienced. In order to prevent said conditions such as forgetting, the preference of the user is not taken into consideration. In other words, all the precautions are taken by the central control circuit (21 ). In such conditions, all the emergency action modules (31 ) are operated without considering whether the user is informed or not.

In the preferred embodiment of the system (S), the present invention has been disclosed for people having hearing loss or hearing impaired people. The warning system (S) is used by said people in the preferred embodiment thereof. However, everyone who needs or does not need it can use in alternative situations.

As distinct from the state of art, the system according to the invention comprises some characteristic features such as using radio frequency waves/signals (1 12), vibration motor (412) and RGB LED (41 1 ) instead of lamp; contacting with other wristband embodiments (41 ), contacting with a broad user group in case of emergencies, controlling the other devices, informing the third persons in case of emergencies, calling by informing the wristband embodiment (41 ) of only the determined user in public areas.
