Abstract:
A washer for a bolt has an upper portion (1) and a lower portion (2) which are integrally formed from an elastically deformable material. The upper portion (1) has, on the inner side thereof, an upwardly open fitting hole (4) into which a head (3a) of a bolt (3), which fastens an object to be fastened, or a nut (7) is fitted. The lower portion (2) is of a plate-like shape and has a bottom surface (5) formed as a recessed surface. The washer also has a bolt hole (6) for allowing a shaft (3b) of the bolt (3) to penetrate through from the bottom of the fitting hole (4) to the lower portion (2). The washer can be configured such that the outer periphery of the upper portion (1) has a polygonal shape so that the washer can be rotated by a spanner. The washer can effectively prevent the bolt from loosening.
