Disclosed are a washer-dryer integrated machine and a control method, comprising an outer drum (5) and a condenser (13) being mounted in the washer-dryer integrated machine, wherein an air inlet of the condenser (13) is connected to an air outlet of the outer drum (5), an air outlet of the condenser (13) is connected to an air inlet of the outer drum (5), and a valve is mounted on a connection channel between the air inlet of the condenser (13) and the air outlet of the outer drum (5) to control the connection/disconnection of the connection channel. The connection/disconnection of the connection channel is controlled by providing the valve on the connection channel between the air inlet of the condenser (13) and the air outlet of the outer drum (5), and the unblocking of an air flow channel is realized by means of first detecting whether conduction is performed between a clothes drying air duct and the outer drum (5) when washing or drying, and the connection channel between the air inlet of the condenser (13) and the air outlet of the outer drum (5) being closed when the water is filled into the outer drum (5) to reduce water usage, or the connection channel between the air inlet of the condenser (13) and the air outlet of the outer drum (5) is opened when drying.
