The purpose of the present invention is to provide a washing-cum-spinning tub which enables prevention of reduced watertightness due to joint portions of the cylindrical body (101) and maintenance of high degree of watertightness. This washing-cum-spinning tub includes: a metal cylindrical body (101); a synthetic resin bottom part (102) disposed on a lower end side of the cylindrical body (101); an annular packing (104) that is held between an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body (101) and an outer circumferential surface of the bottom part (102); and an annular packing pressing member (103) that is attached to the bottom part (102) so as to press the annular packing (104) held between the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body (101) and outer circumferential surface of the bottom part (102) from below with an upper end thereof. A recess (105) is provided on an outer circumferential side of the annular packing pressing member (103) in an area facing a lower end of a joint (S) that runs vertically along the cylindrical body (101), and a sealing member (111) is embedded in the recess (105) so as to cover the lower end of the joint (S) of the cylindrical body (101).
