Abstract:
A washing machine and a colour protection washing method therefor. The washing machine comprises a control panel (10). A plurality of conventional program buttons and colour protection program buttons (101) of different categories are provided on the control panel (10). The method comprises the following steps: after it has been detected that a colour protection program button (101) has been pressed, the washing machine is controlled to enter a colour protection operation mode, and a colour protection protecting temperature T1 set under a colour protection program is obtained; the weight of clothing in the washing machine is obtained, and the washing machine is controlled to take in water according to the weight of the clothing; after the washing machine has taken in water up to a target amount of water, the washing machine is controlled to perform washing according to the colour protection protecting temperature T1. The present washing machine and colour protection washing method therefor ensure a temperature for washing clothing, prevent clothing from fading or losing colour, and protect clothing from damage.
