Abstract:
A washing machine (1) is provided with: an outer tub (20); an inner tub (30) provided in the outer tub (20) so as to be connected with the inside of the outer tub (20); a drive unit (120) that is driven to agitate water in the inner tub (30); and a circulation path (70) connected to the outer tub (20) so as to circulate water in the outer tub (20). The washing machine (1) is further provided with a circulation pump (90) that forms a flow of water in the circulation path (70), and a control device (150) that controls the drive unit (120) and the circulation pump (90). Moreover, during a long-time-period course in which a washing period for driving the drive unit (120) to wash clothes in the inner tub (30) is relatively long, the control device (150) performs control to intermittently drive the circulation pump (90) such that the circulation pump (90) enters a drive state and enters a halted state.
