Abstract:
The washing machine comprises: a housing; a tub inside the housing; a case connected to the tub; a filter that can be attached/detached to/from the case; a filtering flow path that passes through one portion of the filter; a bypass flow path that bypasses the one portion of the filter; and at least one sensor for acquiring information about the state of the filter. The washing machine comprises: a flow path switching device for guiding water flowing in the case to the filtering flow path or to the bypass flow path; and a control unit for controlling, on the basis of the acquired information about the state of the filter, the flow path switching device in order to guide the water.
