Abstract:
A washing machine according to the present disclosure comprises: a tub; a drum that can rotate in the tub; a detergent supply device for supplying detergent into the tub, the detergent supply device including an accommodation part, a pump motor for pumping liquid inside the accommodation part, and a discharge port for guiding, into the tub, the liquid pumped by means of the pump motor; a user interface for receiving a user input of requesting washing in the accommodation part; and a control part for sensing a washing condition in the accommodation part on the basis of a load of the pump motor, and performing a washing operation in the accommodation part on the basis that the user input has been received.
