Abstract:
This washing machine comprises: a housing; an outer tub that is accommodated in the housing and stores water; a drum that is included in the outer tub and accommodates a garment; a drainage hose that drains washing water in the outer tub; a circulation pump (20) that returns the washing water in the outer tub to the drum; and a foreign matter trap (40) that is provided upstream of the circulation pump (20) to trap a foreign matter. The foreign matter trap (40) comprises a foreign matter collecting portion (41c) that collects the foreign matter and a filter case (42) that detachably accommodates the foreign matter collecting portion. An angle (α) of a lower surface side collecting portion (41c1) of the foreign matter collecting portion (41c) is smaller than an insertion angle (β) of the foreign matter collecting portion (41c) with respect to the filter case (42).
