Abstract:
The washing machine motor according to the present invention comprises: an outer shaft connected to a wash tub; an inner shaft connected to a pulsator; an outer rotor connected to the outer shaft so as to drive the wash tub; an inner rotor connected to the inner shaft so as to drive the pulsator; a stator disposed between the inner rotor and the outer rotor with gaps therebetween; and first and second bearings disposed at predetermined intervals and rotatably supporting the outer shaft, wherein the outer shaft has a first connecting part formed between the first and second bearings and having the outer rotor connected thereto. As the first connecting part for connecting the outer rotor to the outer shaft is disposed between the first and second bearings, the washing machine motor allows a reduction in the overall height of the motor and thus allows a reduction in the overall height of a washing machine or an increase in the size of the wash tub.
