Abstract:
A washing machine tub (1) has an overflow port (4) provided at an upper portion thereof. A water retaining rib (2) below the overflow port (4) is provided at an inner wall of the washing machine tub (1). The water retaining rib (2) extends from bottom to top to correspondingly block the overflow port (4). An overflow gap is provided between the overflow port (4) and the water retaining rib (2). The washing machine tub (1) can prevent water from flowing outside of the washing machine by accident, thereby providing safety and reliability. The present invention is applicable to washing machines having a jet spray washing function, and does not require a new mold, thereby reducing costs of research, development, and manufacturing. In particular, the present invention improves the effect of jet spray washing, achieves a better washing effect, and has great application potential.
