Description:
DESCRIPTION

WASHING MACHINE WITH BIDIRECTIONAL DOOR

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention is related to th doors of washing machine that are opened right, left, and optionally bidirectional, or completeiy separable with a singie move, if desired.

PRIOR ART

In general, washing machine doors can be opened to right or left, but cannot be opened to both sides. Opening to the right or left is a problem in places where the space is particularly small. The user should locate the machine according to the opening direction, if the space for the washing machine Is suitable for right directional and the machine of the tenant is left directional, the tenant will be forced to change the machine and the machine that can be used should be changed.

Besides, in cases where the machine can b opened to the right and the user is left handed, it is hard to use the machine door. The same situation is concerned when the door is opened to the left side, and the user is right handed .

Also in the assembly of the machine doors onto the machines in the prior art, many materials are used for connecting the clamp by using parts such as boits, nuts etc. Besides, since the lock system of the old system was a shut down latch, it makes too much noise and the lock latch was constantly being broken with hard impacts. in addition, this reduces the life of the door. This creates cost problem for the user. In addition, for door damage that occurs, since the user cannot remove th door from the machine the necessity to be sent t service would rise, which makes the transport process difficult.

Since the washing machine door cannot be easily removed from the machine, cleaning the inside also is not easy. Due to the pressing with the hand or body of the user against the door during the cleaning of the inside, the door might be broken because of this situation especially, which is a major problem for meticulous people.

DEFINITION OF THE INVENTION

The invention has been developed considering the mentioned problems of th prior art in order to resolve these issues.

The innovative washing machine door can be opened to the right or left, optionally. Hence it can be used anywhere it is preferred as well as small spaces. Determination of location according to the direction of door opening is unnecessary.

Since the machine door is bidirectional, it can easily be used by " bath left-handed and right-handed users in both directions. The left-handed people can ope the door from the right and the right-handed people can open the door from the left.

Due to the removal of assembly accessories (nuts, bolts, washers, etc.), the reduction of connectio elements to 50% less for the innovative machine doo and the removal of the lock system, the cost is reduced and assembly is facilitated, loss of labo and time is avoided. The appearance is also more aesthetic. Also in this system, there is the prevention of magnetic coil system against magnetic shocks Due to the absence of the ratchet-iike locking systems, the lock will be silent, all of the problems that occur in the old system have been eliminated.

Since less material is used during assembfy compared to the current system, the problems arising from these materials are removed, and its lifetime is increased.

Since the innovative door can be easily removed from the machine, the cover is easily disassembled from the machine and can be sent in case of any service. This facilitates the transport process.

Additionally, since the door can be easily removed, cleaning of the machine, especially th tub, can be easily performed. With this system, due to the slightly longer lifetime of the door, the removal lock system and decrease of connection elements and most importantly, availability of the completely removed door to be used as a laundry basket, decrease th cost as well as increasing its functionality. The innovative system can be applied not only on to the washing machine, but also on to the products such as fridges, microwave ovens and other white goods or car doors, the doors of which can be opened only to the right or only to the left,

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION it is a washing machine having a bidirectional opening door wherein it comprises the connectio plate (1), coil (2), fixed hinge (3), front outer cover (4), cover glass (5), latch spring (6), right cover release latch (7.1), left cover release latch (7.2), cove release latch motion pin (8), hinge pi (9), back cover (1.0), Neodymium magnet (1 1 , and power supply (12).

The connection plate (1) is the part, which is fixed to the washing machine, carrying the whole system onto which the coil (2), the front outer door (3) and the hinge pin (9) are assembled.

The coil (2) is the part when operated, to which the power is connected, acting as th lock holding the Neodymium magnet (11). This piece ensures the cover is kept locked when the power is supplied. The fixed hinge (3) is the part that holds the cover when it is opened or moved.

The front outer cover (4) is the part that provides the motion of the door between 0° and 120 * due to the bearing it has, onto which the latch spring {§}, door release latches (7.1 and 7.2), and cover release latch motion pin (8) are mounted.

The cover release (7,1 and 7.2) is the part that is released from of the hing pin (Q) as a result of the closing of the latch spring (8) being forced to open by the user, and by moving on the axis of the force of the opening latch spring (8) by the retraction movement of the pin (8) acting on the axis o the release latch motion pin (8). As a result the cover is opened

When the door is desired to be opened to the right, the left doo release latch (7.2) is opened to th right, when desired to open to the left, the right door release latch (7.1) is opened to the left, when the cover is desired to be removed completeiy, the cover release latches (7.1 and 7.2.) are opened.

The power suppiy (12) is the part that prevents the spontaneous opening of the door coming into action in case of a power failure.
