Abstract:
A direct−drive washing machine capable of performing washing operation by efficiently converting an electric energy inputted into a motor (10) into the mechanical energies of water and cloths or with less vibration and noise, wherein, when performing the washing operation by efficiently converting the energy, the acceleration time and the deceleration time of an agitating body (8) drivingly rotated by the motor (10) is controlled so that the rotating vibration of a water receiving tank (4) becomes maximum based on the measured values of a vibration sensor (25) or the measured weight values of the cloths and, when performing the washing operation with less vibration and noise, the acceleration time and the deceleration time of the agitating body (8) drivingly rotated by the motor (10) are controlled so that the rotating vibration of the water receiving tank (4) becomes minimum.
