Abstract:
A washing machine (1) is provided with: a pulse detection unit (78a) which detects the number of pulses of the rotation amount of a motor (41); and a laundry amount determination unit (78b) which, on the basis of reference data indicating a standard number of pulses corresponding to a prestored laundry amount, determines the amount of laundry in a washing tub (30) from the number of pulses detected by the pulse detection unit (78a), and corrects the correspondence relationship between the amount of laundry and the number of pulses in the reference data on the basis of the difference between the number of pulses detected by the pulse detection unit (78a) in an unloaded condition in which no laundry is put in the washing tub (30) and the standard number of pulses.
