Abstract:
Provided is a washing machine comprising: a lid body (5); a lid detection unit (6) having two terminals; and a transmission unit (7) disposed between the lid body (5) and the lid detection unit (6). When the lid body (5) is opened, the transmission unit (7) presses at least one of the terminals of the lid detection unit (6) in the direction of opening. Accordingly, even when the contact points of the two terminals are fixed to each other, the contact points are separated as the transmission unit (7) presses one of the two fixed terminals. Consequently, the open/closed state of the lid body (5) can be accurately transmitted to the lid detection unit (6).
