Abstract:
The washing machine of this disclosure is provided with: an outer tank elastically supported within a housing; a washing tank rotatably provided within the outer tank; a motor for rotationally driving the washing tank; a centrifugal separation unit for centrifugally separating forengn matter contained in washing water within the outer tank; a water delivery passage for returning the washing water within the outer tank into the outer tank through the centrifugal separation unit; a pump for circulating the washing water within the outer tank through the centrifugal separation unit provided in the water delivery passage; and a control unit for sequentially controlling steps, such as washing, rinsing, and dewatering, and performing washing operation. The control unit is configured so as to cause the centrifugal separation unit to start centrifugal separation after the hardness of the washing water within the outer tank is reduced in the washing step.
