Abstract:
A washing machine according to the present invention has a reinforcing member, which is disposed at the outer surface of a balancer housing, for reinforcing the strength of the balancer housing of a ball balancer, and the reinforcing member is disposed in a region of the outer surface of the balancer housing, which corresponds to a non-contact surface with which a ball does not come into contact, so as to prevent a plurality of recesses and protrusions, which can be formed when the balancer housing is injected by the reinforcing member comprising a plurality of ribs, from influencing rolling of the ball. Therefore, even though the plurality of recesses and protrusions are formed on a channel provided inside the balancer housing by the plurality of ribs during the injection of the balancer housing, the recesses and the protrusions are arranged on the non-contact surface, and thus do not influence the rolling of the ball such that the reliability of the ball balancer can be ensured.
