Abstract:
This washing machine comprises a washing drum (1) in which laundry (55) is accommodated, and the following are arranged on the left and right with respect to the center of rotation of the washing drum (1): a first water supply section (48) that wets the laundry (55) with sprinkled water (50) and that is arranged in a position eccentric from the center of rotation of the washing drum (1); and a second water supply section (49) that is arranged in a position substantially symmetrical to the first water supply section (48) with respect to the center of rotation of the washing drum (1). As a result, it is possible to uniformly wet the laundry (55) with sprinkled water (50) from the left and from the right even when the water pressure of tap water is low. It is thus possible to provide a washing machine that can improve washing performance.
