Abstract:
A washing machine. An open internal cylinder (1) of the washing machine becomes a sealed container after the opening is closed by a cover (4). A side wall of the inner cylinder (1) is provided with a plurality of lifting ribs (8). The lifting ribs (8) are hollow and communicate with the internal cylinder (1). The side wall of the internal cylinder (1) is provided with at least one drainage port (10) communicating with the lifting ribs (8). A sealing valve (9) inside the lifting ribs (8) is provided at the drainage port (10). When the internal cylinder (1) rotates at high speed, a valve body (92) of the sealing valve (9) under the action of centrifugal force moves in a radial central direction of the internal cylinder (1), so as to open the drainage port (10) disposed on the side wall of the inner cylinder (1). The drainage port (10) is disposed and hidden in the lifting ribs (8) of the internal cylinder (1), such that water drains from the internal cylinder (1) by means of the hidden drainage port (10). In addition, the sealing valve (9) is disposed at the drainage port (10), such that when the internal cylinder (1) rotates at high speed, centrifugal force correspondingly controls a valve element of the sealing valve (9), and the drainage port (10) is automatically opened to drain the internal cylinder (1). The invention ensures that clothes contact only with water in the internal cylinder (1).
