Abstract:
A washing machine, which allows, with a magnetic structure being used to keep closed an outer drum cover covering an opening part on the upper surface of an outer drum, a user to easily perform an opening or closing operation with respect to the outer drum cover. The fully automatic washing and drying machine is provided with the outer drum cover (23) closing an inner-side inlet (101) of an outer drum housing (100). A handle (300) of the outer drum cover (23) comprises: a handle-side configuration surface (335), provided opposite to the outer drum housing (100) when the inner-side inlet (101) is closed by the outer drum cover (23); a handle-side suction surface (322), configured in the handle-side configuration surface (335); and a pull handle part (315) to be grabbed by the hand. The outer drum housing (100) comprises: an outer drum-side configuration surface (151) corresponding to the handle-side configuration surface (335); and an outer drum-side suction surface (161), configured in the outer drum-side configuration surface (151) and in contact with the handle-side suction surface (322). When the pull handle part (315) is pulled up, the handle-side configuration surface (335) is rotated with a protruding part (336) of the handle-side configuration surface (335) as the fulcrum, and the handle-side suction surface (322) is separated from the outer drum-side suction surface (161).
