The present invention provides a washing machine, comprising a washing tub for holding water in the washing process and a water collection device for collecting discharge water of the washing tub. The water collection device comprises a water collection cavity and a drainage port communicated with the water collection cavity. A plurality of drainage ports is provided to satisfy the drainage requirement of preventing overflow of the water collection device. The washing tub of the washing machine of the present invention is used as a water holding tub, and no outer tub is provided outside the washing tub. The present invention only provides a water collection device at the bottom of the washing tub. In this case, washing water in the washing tub is discharged to the water collection device and then drained. Therefore, the water collection device has a water collection cavity to achieve the function of temporarily storing water. The present invention has a plurality of drainage ports, which can increase the water discharge of the water collection device in unit time to achieve rapid drainage, thereby reducing accumulated water in a water collection tank and preventing overflow of the water collection device.
