Abstract:
The present invention comprises: an upper cover (300) that is a housing having a loading port (310) for loading clothes; a storage part that opens upward and is contained within the upper cover (300) that is a housing; a lid body (500) that is provided so as to cover over the loading port (310); and a hinge part that supports the lid body (500) in a manner that allows the opening/closing thereof. An operation display unit (400) is provided rearward of the loading port (310) and is an operation display part where instructions regarding a washing operation are set and where instructions regarding the washing operation are displayed. The lateral width dimensions of the operation display unit (400), which is an operation display part, are approximately the same as the lateral width dimensions of the upper cover (300) that is a housing, and the hinge part is positioned below the operation display part (400). With this configuration, the hinge part supporting the lid body (500) in a manner that allows the opening/closing thereof is contained within the operation display unit (400) that is an operation display part.
