Abstract:
This washing machine is configured so that, in a washing step, a control unit (15) executes a first washing step in which the control unit (15) drives one water supply valve (10) to supply water from a first water supply passage (12) into a washing and dewatering drum (4), in which laundry to be washed has been loaded, and performs a washing and stirring operation using only water, and then the control unit (15) causes the water to be discharged. After that, the control unit (15) executes a second washing step in which the control unit (15) drives the other water supply valve (10) and a detergent introduction device (11) to supply water (washing water) containing a detergent into the washing and dewatering drum (4) from a second water supply passage (13) and performs a washing and stirring operation. The provided washing machine has improved performance by which, even when laundry to be washed having stubborn stains is mixed in the laundry to be washed, the stains can be more reliably removed.
