Abstract:
A washing machine according to the present disclosure comprises: a housing including a housing opening communicated with an inner space; a water tank provided in the inner space; and a rotary drum provided in the water tank in a rotatable manner around a rotational shaft. The washing machine further comprises: an air intake opening that is provided to be communicated with the inner space and through which drying air is taken in; an intake air channel that supplies the drying air from the air intake opening to an intake air connection opening provided on the water tank; and a heater arranged in the intake air channel. The washing machine still further comprises: an exhaust air opening that is formed on the housing and through which the drying air is discharged; and an exhaust air channel that supplies the drying air from an exhaust air connection opening provided along an outer periphery of the water tank to the exhaust air opening. An opening orientation of the housing opening and an opening orientation of the air intake opening are different.
