A washing system using a clothes recognition device, and an Internet-of-things washing machine. The washing system comprises the Internet-of-things washing machine (2). The Internet-of-things washing machine (2) is in communication with a server. The clothes recognition device (1) comprises a clothes recognition module and a recognition device communication module that are in data connection with each other. The clothes recognition module is used for recognizing clothes information. The recognition device communication module is in communication with the Internet-of-things washing machine (2) and/or the server. A washing machine processor is disposed in the Internet-of-things washing machine (2). The washing machine processor is used for controlling the Internet-of-things washing machine to set a corresponding clothes processing program according to a washing parameter. By means of multiple networking manners among the clothes recognition device (1), the Internet-of-things washing machine (2) and the server, a variety of intelligent washing manners are provided, and a deployed washing machine can conveniently recognize clothes information, so that the washing machine achieves the requirement for executing a corresponding personalized clothes processing program according to different clothes.
