Abstract:
The present invention pertains to the field of sanitary and technical equipment and more precisely relates to hand-held instruments used for washing oneself principally out of habitation buildings. These instruments can for example be used in the fields, during a picnic or by the owners of cars. The washstand of the present invention comprises a water tank with a bottom portion having a drain opening formed therein, wherein said opening can be closed using a rod-shaped valve capable of vertical displacement. The washstand is further provided with a support member connected to the tank, wherein said support member can be made in the shape of a tripod with telescopic legs.
