Abstract:
Provided are a waste gas collection system and method for an extruder, and a plastic extrusion system and method. A sealed space is formed between a water curtain and the liquid surface in a cooling water tank so as to prevent the waste gas emitted from a discharge port and the waste water from melted plastic material volatilization from being dispersed into the external atmosphere, such that the waste gas can be all isolated in the sealed space, thereby enhancing the concentration of the waste gas in the gas recovered. During recovery, a gas suction assembly can be started and needs to generate only a small negative pressure and gas volume to completely collect the waste gas inside of the sealed space. The present invention addresses the problem of existing open waste gas recycling not being thorough, substantially reduces the power of the gas suction assembly, and lowers energy consumption, noise, and equipment cost. Additionally, the sealed space formed by the water curtain has a relatively small impact on the production process, and an operator can observe the state inside of the sealed space in a timely manner, and no substantial modification needs to be made to the current structure.
