Abstract:
This waste heat recovery apparatus recovers waste heat generated by a heat engine. The waste heat recovery apparatus is provided with a boiler, an expander, a condenser, a pump, a refrigerant flow channel, a cooling flow channel, and a heat exchanger. The boiler transfers heat from waste heat to a refrigerant. The expander introduces the refrigerant discharged from the boiler, and recovers the waste heat. The condenser condenses the refrigerant discharged from the expander. The pump sends the refrigerant discharged from the condenser to the boiler. The refrigerant flow channel connects the boiler, the expander, the condenser and the pump. The refrigerant flow channel cools the heat engine. The heat exchanger exchanges heat between a location on the refrigerant flow channel, which is between the expander and the condenser, and the refrigerant flow channel.
