Abstract:
This waste heat recovery boiler is characterized by being provided with: a duct through which hot gas flows; a steam-generating pipe disposed inside the duct, through which water flows; and a brackish water drum that is disposed outside of the duct, and separates steam generated by heating water that passes through the steam-generating pipe using the hot gas that passes through the duct. The waste heat recovery boiler is further characterized in that, in the brackish water drum, the cross-sectional shape in the water surface direction of water that accumulates in the brackish water drum is circular. This thermal power plant is characterized by being provided with the waste heat recovery boiler. A waste heat recovery boiler that allows a thermal power plant to be quickly started up, and a thermal power plant provided with the waste heat recovery boiler can thus be provided.
