Title:
WASTE HEAT RECOVERY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/033497
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This waste heat recovery device is to be attached to an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine, a discharge passage for factory waste heat,or the like so as to inhibit the lowering of waste heat recovery efficiency. For the purpose, a Stirling engine (100) is attached to a device attaching surface (123) provided in an exhaust passage (122). At this time, it is attached such that the device attaching surface (123) provided in an exhaust passage (122), the end surface (101it) of a high temperature-side cylinder (101) on the heater connection side, and the end surface (103it) of a low temperature-side cylinder (103) on the cooler connection side are made to be parallel. Further, the high temperature-side cylinder (101) is disposed upstream in the exhaust flow. And, the low temperature-side cylinder (103) is disposed downstream of the high temperature-side cylinder (101), etc.
