Abstract:
A waste heat utilization device for an internal combustion engine, equipped with: an air supply circuit having a supercharger that supplies pressurized air to the internal combustion engine; a Rankine cycle circuit having an expander and a pump that supplies an operating fluid to the expander; an air supply heat exchanger constructed so as to exchange heat between the pressurized air and the operating fluid and arranged between the pump and the expander in the Rankine cycle circuit as well as between the supercharger in the air supply circuit and the internal combustion engine; a discharged gas heat exchanger constructed so as to exchange heat between the operating fluid and the exhaust gas discharged to the outside from the internal combustion engine; and a recirculated gas heat exchanger constructed so as to exchange heat between the operating fluid and exhaust gas that has been recirculated to the internal combustion engine. The discharged gas heat exchanger and the recirculated gas heat exchanger are arranged in parallel between the expander and the air supply heat exchanger in the Rankine cycle circuit.
