Abstract:
This waste material management system comprises: a management unit (100) that acquires and manages material receipt data including information about each of the types of materials required to manufacture a heat exchanger (200), the composition of the materials, the weights of the materials, and the greenhouse gas emissions required to prepare the materials, utility data including information about each of power consumption and gas consumption to be used during the manufacturing of the heat exchanger, and weight data on each of the state of the finished heat exchanger, the state of the parts of the heat exchanger, and the state of waste materials (210-215) generated when manufacturing the heat exchanger; and a prediction unit (110) that uses brazing condition data and material receipt data used in a brazing process of the heat exchanger to predict changes in the material composition of post-brazing waste material (215) generated after the brazing process among the waste materials. The management unit grasps the material composition and carbon footprint of each waste material in real time on the basis of the amount of waste material and the material composition predicted by the prediction unit.
