Abstract:
The present invention relates to a waste receptacle of which the cover slides automatically, comprising: a receiving-port housing, the centre of which is provided with a receiving port for receiving waste; a cover for covering the receiving port provided in the front surface of the receiving-port housing; a first operating lever comprising a link of which one end is rotatably connected to the cover, and a rod which is rotatably connected to the link; a rotating means which is connected to the rod of the first operating lever and which rotates the rod; and a second operating lever of which one end is rotatably connected to the cover, and of which the other end is rotatably connected to the back surface of the receiving-port housing. According to the present invention, the waste receptacle of which the cover slides automatically is straightforward to use, is suitable for automated equipment, and enhances commercial potential by increasing the quality of waste receptacles.
