Abstract:
The invention relates to a wastewater purification apparatus. The inventive apparatus comprises a wastewater centrifugation device (1) or stage consisting of a vertical centrifugal drum (4), a coaxial spiral element (3) and an outlet (17) at the lower part thereof, through which the heavy sludge is released, said device being connected to a pressurising chamber (6) at the upper part of same. The aforementioned pressurising chamber (6) is connected to a static mixer (8) containing water and injected air, to which are added reagents and anti-contaminants in order to cause the suspended contaminants to flocculate and float to the surface. Moreover, the static mixer (8) is connected to a flotation separator (2) comprising a container (10) containing a differential pitch screw (12) which is driven by a variable-speed motor (11). Said screw (12) is disposed such as to push and compact the floating sludge in the direction of an adjustable-height separator (13). The lower part of the flotation container (10) comprises an outlet (16) for the clarified water.
