Abstract:
The present invention sufficiently demonstrates a membrane cleaning effect through relaxation, and improves the productivity of processed water. One cycle is repeated, said cycle being the performance of a filtering operation and a filtering stop operation, while a membrane cartridge (18) is aerated. Using a gas release valve (62) which is connected to a gas accumulation chamber (52), the gas release valve (62) is closed after being opened once, at the timing at which the filtering stop operation begins for each cycle.
