Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a water-absorbent copolymer including: a vinyl alcohol structural unit x; and a structural unit z other than the vinyl alcohol structural unit x and a vinyl ester structural unit y, wherein the ratio of the content of average cross-links of the structural unit z with respect to the content of the structural unit z is 50.0 mol% or less.
