Abstract:
Provided is a water-absorbent resin composition which comprises water-absorbent resin particles and activated carbon, and has an excellent deodorizing effect.　The water-absorbent resin composition comprises water-absorbent resin particles and activated carbon disposed on the surfaces of the water-absorbent resin particles, wherein, when 10 g of the water-absorbent resin composition is added and swollen while stirring, at 600 rpm, 50 g of physiological saline at 24.9 °C in a 300 mL insulated container, the water-absorbent resin composition has a heat release rate of 0.10 °C/sec to 1.00 °C/sec when the temperature rises by 2 °C.
