Abstract:
A water-absorbing culture soil that comprises a water-repellent organic material, a clay mineral and polyvinyl alcohol, wherein at least a part of the clay mineral adheres to the water-repellent organic material via the polyvinyl alcohol and shows a falling-off ratio of not more than 10 mass% after irrigation.
