Abstract:
A water absorbing pad for a contact lens, wherein a generally sheet-like water absorbing material layer (18) is formed of a water absorbing material capable of absorbing and holding a treatment liquid (26) sealed in a contact lens case (12) for storing the contact lens (38) and the rear surface of the water absorbing material layer (18) is covered by an impermeable water leakage prevention layer (20). Since the absorbing pad is used, the treatment liquid can be prevented from being spattered when any treatment is applied to the contact lens (38) by using the treatment liquid (26) in the contact lens case (12) and the remaining treatment liquid can be easily treated. Then the use of the contact lens can be more facilitated.
