Abstract:
The present invention is a water-absorbing resin composition which contains: a crosslinked polymer (A) containing, as essential constituent units, a water-soluble vinyl monomer (a1) and/or a vinyl monomer (a2) that forms the water-soluble vinyl monomer (a1) upon hydrolysis, and a crosslinking agent (b); a compound (B) that is one or more types selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by general formula (1) and a compound represented by general formula (2), and/or a salt thereof; and one or more typical elements selected from the group consisting of iodine, tellurium, antimony and bismuth. The present invention is capable of providing: a water-absorbing resin composition which can suppress changes in soluble matter while suppressing changes in color tint following long term storage in a high temperature high humidity environment; an absorber and an absorbent article obtained using same; and a method for producing the water-absorbing resin composition.
